Wytchehaven Weekend #2, Celebrate the Harvest, did indeed live up to its
name!
Many thanks to all of you who came out and celebrated with us. Special
thanks to our featured speaker, Ms. Trish Telesco, for braving
the heat here in Arkansas to bless us with her laughter, wisdom and friendship.
Special thanks also to our fabulous drummers from Memphis, FREQ, who put
on a truly dazzling show for us Saturday night.
We were so glad our brother Sede made it out to join us, and shared his
music with us. And to our vendors -- and the lovely "Ladies of the Mist"
-- as always, our sincere thanks for sharing your beautiful wares with
us.
At this festival, we were able to raise $65.00 to aid those in need devastated
by Hurricane Katrina, and we also raised $42.00 to help fund additional
equipment for our fantastic safety team from SDCW. Our Brightest Blessings
to all of you for truly giving from your hearts and sharing with the community.
Coming soon -- our interview with Trish Telesco on paganism, community
and Pagan Ethics, and also our attendee reviews from weekend #2. Check
back soon!

We are also delighted to announce that Sede will be playing music for
us on Saturday September 3rd, 2005
Sede (pronounced Seed) was born and raised in Arkansas. He began writing
and performing his own brand of acoustic-folk-rock in the early 1990's.
Sede spent several years studying with various ethnic sounds and they
are still very evident in much of his current repertoire. During the past
decade Sede has been experimenting with various musical concepts and genres
only to return to his roots as an acoustic folk-rock performer.
In 1998 Sede graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a
bachelors degree in Psychology and a wealth of experiences that serve
to enrich his lyrical dialogue. These experiences include a year of intensive
independent study of Islam and 5 years of experiencing and studying various
religious traditions including Buddism, Christianity, Hindusm, Qabalah,
NeoPaganism, Taoism, Wicca, and Zen Buddism.
Today Sede writes and performs a brand of music that possesses an esoteric
flavor and a soul that seems with eternal understanding. a song possesses
a life of it's own and as it dances to a listener's ear it speaks from
it's soul about the life that we all live everyday.
